Construction Ahead
There are multiple paving projects slated to begin in the North Myrtle Beach area this month and continue through spring. Among the roads to be resurfaced are 13th Avenue North, 20th Avenue North, 5th Avenue South, 37th Avenue South, 40th Avenue South, 46th Avenue South, Allen Street, Bay Pines Court, Catalina Drive, Cherry Tree Lane, Clubhouse Drive, Coral Reef Drive, Coral Sand Drive, Crosswinds Avenue, Dogwood Place, Eastover Lane, Herring Gull Circle, Hunter Avenue, J. Bryan Floyd Community Center Parking Lot, Jerdon Circle, Landfall Drive, Lewis Street, Live Oak Court, Martha’s Way, Moorings Way, Mount Vernon Drive, North Oak Drive, Phyllis Street, Sand Dollar Court, Sea Bird Court, Sea Horse Court, South Oak Drive, Spotted Owl Landing, Summers Place, Sunset Harbour Drive, Swan Lake Drive, Tilghman Forest Drive, Watermark Court, Waterway Drive, White Tern Circle, Windy Pines Drive, and Wood Street.

Fluffy Pups and Tasty Treats
The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is excited to an
nounce the Third Annual Macaroni Mania will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 12:00PM – 4:00PM at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. There will be a food cook-off, live bands, children’s activities, auctions and raffles, and so much more. You can also check out some of the great shelter pets available for adoption. Boulineau’s is a proud sponsor of this event. We will be there exhibiting with some great give-away items. We hope to see you! Shoot Out
The 12th Annual Guns & Hoses Charity Softball Game will return to TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark on Saturday, February 29, 2020. The event, which is presented by 707 Indoor Shooting Range and WMBF News, will feature a 6-team showdown between local first responders. All proceeds from the event will benefit SOS Health Care, Inc. Project Lifesaver for Horry County. Gates will open at 10AM and the first game will begin at 11AM. Admission to the event is a $5 donation to SOS Health Care, Inc. The event will also include a hot dog buffet while supplies last. Concessions will be available as well. Spectators can participate in various games and raffles with all proceeds benefiting SOS Health Care Inc.
Charitable Causes
The City of North Myrtle Beach and Barefoot Resort and Golf are hosting a golf tournament benefiting the children of our community. All proceeds from the event will go to North Myrtle Beach’s Shop with a Hero program. Shop with a Hero is a Christmas program for children in need at Ocean Drive Elementary School. Children are treated to lunch and given a $150 Wal-Mart gift card. North Myrtle Beach police officers and volunteers accompany the children and help them make their purchases. The goal is to raise enough money to provide an unforgettable Christmas for children in our community. Registration forms are available at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center and Barefoot Resort and Golf. This year’s event will be held Friday, February 7th on the Dye course at Barefoot Resort and Golf in North Myrtle Beach.
