So many of you have asked about events taking place in and around Cherry Grove Beach for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday so we thought we’d create this guide.

Music and More

If you love music, you won’t want to miss this awesome free concert at Alabama Theatre on July 3^rd and 4^th at 3:00 pm. This is a free event sponsored by the City of North Myrtle Beach and will feature a beautiful variety of patriotic tunes.  For more information, click here.

The annual Salute from the Shore takes place beginning around 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 4^th.  Grab your spot early and bring your flags! Patriotic dress is also encouraged. You’ll get to see a variety of planes fly overhead in honor of our military men and women.  To learn more, click here.

Now for the fireworks!

There are a number of fireworks displays taking place on July 4^th as well as other dates. I’m biased, but my favorite is the one at Cherry Grove Pier. This show begins at 9:30 pm on Sunday, July 4^th and is a phenomenal and long-lasting display. It does get quite crowded so you’ll want to arrive early to get your spot and be patient when leaving because it will take a while to get out of Cherry Grove Beach.

Another great option for fireworks is Barefoot Landing. They have shows scheduled for July 4^th and 5^th – both at 10:00 pm. You can find out more and learn about additional dates by clicking here.

If you want to venture down to Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach has several shows scheduled including one on July 2^nd, one July 4^th, and one on July 6^th. All shows start at 10:00 pm. You can view the complete schedule here.

Please remember that setting off fireworks is illegal in North Myrtle Beach. Sparklers are always allowed! Be safe and have fun!
